We called John in a pinch and needed an "immediate home inspection". We were looking at a house with a potential bidding war and we were desperate to beat the crowd. Not only did John re-work his schedule to ensure that he could assist us, he was a tremendous inspector. He was meticulous, informative, professional and friendly. Even after the inspection was over, John called us back to provide us with further information he had obtained from an arbourist in respect of a potential tree problem. In general, although the whole house purchase process was incredibly stressful, John's guidance, super high tech equipment and friendly manner helped us to feel confident and prepared. His report was detailed and impressive and way better than the "home reference guide" we got from the inspector we used last time. I would recommend John to anyone who asked.‎

John's inspection allowed us to see some things that we missed on two previous visits to the home we were thinking of buying. In the end, we walked away from the deal and are extremely happy that John was able to take the time to go through the home inspection with us present and explain all that he was looking at. I learned a lot from the experience and would not hesitate to call John again. Since we did not buy the home he inspected, it looks like that phone call might be sooner rather than later! No doubt in my mind, it was some of the best money spent in our home search to this point.

I called to inquire if John can detect a water leak. Since the leak happened a few months ago and I mentioned the place is thoroughly dry, he explained clearly why camera detection would not work in my case. Even though John already knows that he was not coming out and won't be getting any business at this time, he stayed on the phone for another 30 minutes listening to my concerns about the house and gave me excellent advice. His explanations were very clear. I will definitely call John if I need any inspections done.‎

No matter how trivial those questions might have been during the home inspection, you answered them fully and competently, and once again educated us further on our home so that we are in a better position to perform our own home maintenance.
